Afrikabild im Wandel. Ein kritischer Blick
Führung zum Black History Month
Was wissen Sie über Afrika und woher kommt dieses Wissen? Viele Interessen spiel(t)en dabei mit, ein bestimmtes Bild von Afrika zu erzeugen. Die Kreation dieser Bilder begann bereits vor dem Kolonialismus, änderten sich doch rapide mit dem europäischen Interesse an den Ressourcen des afrikanischen Kontinents. Museen haben dieses Bild bis heute wesentlich mitgeprägt.
In diesem Workshop beschäftigen wir uns damit, wie dieses Bild konstruiert und immer wieder reproduziert wurde und wird. Gemeinsam versuchen wir, uns einem zeitgemäßen, diversen Bild anzunähern.
Dauer: 90 Min.
